CHAPTER 2: A Whimsical Travel Diary
Hello, hello! ♡
As I mentioned in my last post, I went on a little trip last week! It was short—just two days and one night—but, how time flies when you’re with the ones you love. π✨
π A Reunion Wrapped in Memories ✨
This trip was extra special because it brought me back to my volleyball family—the friends I’ve cherished since my university days. Six hours on the road felt like a breeze because, at the end of it, I got to reunite with my volleyball peeps! We talked, we laughed, we shared endless memes—every moment stitched together like a cozy patchwork quilt of memories.
The highlight? A beautiful wedding ceremony that felt like something out of a fairytale. And after that? A visit to the cutest little cafΓ©! π☕ Since I’m not much of a coffee drinker, I treated myself to an iced chocolate caramel drink instead—rich, velvety, and so-delicious! It tasted like a hug in a cup! (´꒳`)♡
π‘πΏ A Cozy Stay by the Sea π✨
For the night, we stayed in a small chalet—cozier than I expected, but just perfect for a short trip. There wasn’t anything to complain about; in fact, the simplicity made it even more charming. Sometimes, the little things make all the difference.
The next morning, me and my love one headed to the beach. The sun shone brightly, but the ocean breeze kissed my skin so gently that I barely felt the heat. The waves whispered secrets to the shore, and we spent our time taking photos, enjoying the salty air, and sharing delicious bites before making our way back home.
π A Car Ride Full of Melodies & Heartfelt Talks πΌ
If I had to pick the most unforgettable part of the trip, it would be the car ride home. Just me, him, and our favorite songs playing in the background. Since our music tastes match so well, we sang along (off-key, but with full passion, ahah!) and shared thoughts we hadn’t had the time to talk about before. It felt like peeling back layers of a book, discovering new pages of each other’s hearts. He opened up more, and I felt so appreciated just being there, listening.
Sometimes, happiness isn’t about where you go—it’s about who you share the journey with.
